Fortress Union Bank recently delivered checks to Spirit Lake and Okoboji schools as part of a savings program that began over 25 years ago.
“Fortress Union Bank is happy to provide these dollars to our local schools,” said Luke Donnenwerth, Market President of the Lakes Market, and graduate of Spirit Lake High School. “I believe the schools are best suited to use this money on whatever they believe is most important for the students.”
The amounts of the donations totaled $8,222, and are part of funds that have been accumulating since 2007.“Anyone who’s been part of the Spirit Lake and Okoboji schools knows how lucky we are,” said Amy Radcliffe, Marketing Manager for Fortress Union Bank, and graduate of Spirit Lake High School. “I’m excited to hear how they’ll put the money to use and glad I could part of this program.”
