Sioux Falls, SD – Fortress Union Bank has donated $10,000 to support The Sioux Falls Development Foundation’s Riverline District project.

The Fortress Union Bank Community Fund, a program that began in 2006, meets annually to select grant recipients.

“Fortress Union Bank is at the corner of 11th and Minnesota, not far from the Riverline District,” said Rick Rysavy, Market President at Fortress Union Bank. “This type of project will not only benefit the immediate area, but it’s part of the reason Sioux Falls continues to rank above similarly sized communities when it comes to growth and overall livability.”

Previous Sioux Falls projects supported by Fortress Union Bank include the Arc of Dreams, St. Francis House, Volunteers of America Homeplace campaign, and Lake Avenue Ronald McDonald House.

“Sioux Falls is leading by example,” said Mary Kay Bates, President and CEO of Fortress Union Bank. “We’re pleased to be part of this vibrant community and look forward to seeing the vision for Riverline District come together.”
